catching up again

You know, if I just posted more often, it wouldn't be such a daunting task when I finally sit down to do this. But you know me, big procrastinator. Anyways, here are a bunch of pictures that are fairly recent...all from the past couple of weeks. I'm still missing florida pictures because I waited so long to post them, barry has now uploaded them onto smugmug & they're no longer on our camera. So, to check those out, go to our smugmug account. There's some really great pictures of us on the beach hanging out with kaelyn, and some where she's covered in sand - I'll have to put them on here at some point.

Better watch that door, now she knows how to crawl out of the house!

I put this picture on here just to compare what she looked like right around this time last year. What a difference! Man, I WISH I could just leave her on the bed in the bumbo seat again. I didn't know how good I had it.

On her 16 month birthday, she got a shiny new "cozy coupe". Already on the phone & behind the wheel...figures.

who should I call?

Barry & Jon redid the inside of our garage. It had some mildew issues & we were told to spray it down top to bottom with bleach. This is Barry getting ready to tackle that.

Wow, this is such a hot look.

In true redneck fashion, we put our sofa out on the corner to sell it (it had been in the garage!). It sold in a few hours - what should I put out there next? So much to choose from.

Remember when I said Barry loves to spackle. Case in point.

She's got the keys, but didn't have a car to go with them yet...now she does.

She wanted to pretty up grandpa with her lipstick.

She found someone else to do a makeover on. I love this! Notice her bracelets too and her purse. Yes, I'm really pushing the gender roles.

These pictures are from mother's day. We went to rockport for the day & had a great time.

Crawling around rockport. Like her bracelet?

We were at a birthday last weekend at the park & it rained a little bit. But when it was over, this is what we saw. It was so beautiful. You can't really make it out here, but the rainbow repeated several times & we could see both ends of it. Very cool. There was a leprechan too...but no gold.
Kaelyn in her backpack. She actually likes this thing...for now.
At wingersheek beach.

Russell Orchards. No that's not a beer, it's cider. No, this was not intended to hold my weight.
Wishing it was a beer. Where's that leprechan?

This is the first time she ate from a fork. I just put food on it & she put it right in her mouth like she had done it a hundred times before. She's a quick study.

Behind the wheel of her new car for the first time.
